Pan Seared Salmon

This is a tasty, easy meal cooked in a cast iron skillet.  It only takes about 10 minutes to cook but tastes like you spent hours on it!  If you don’t already cook with a cast iron skillet, read about the benefits here.



2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Sea salt


4 salmon filets

1 fresh lemon


Preheat cast iron skillet over medium heat, add oil.  Season salmon on both sides with salt and pepper.  Add to skillet and cook 3-4 minutes on each side.  Season with freshly squeezed lemon and serve.

Serves 4
